Also released this year, Timothy was featured in “Wind Talkers” MGM, with Nicholas Cage, and “Leftovers”, an independent feature acquired by Troma at the Cannes Film Festival, with a theatrical run at Laemmle Theaters in Los Angeles and New York.

More recent unreleased projects include the lead in an independent half hour pilot “Boyle Heights” by creator William Richert (Writer/Director of “A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon” with River Phoenix). Timothy was cast as Marco, in the Los Angeles workshop release of “Stalag 17(the musical)” by Alan Glueckman. This stage project has recently signed on legendary Broadway producer Leonard Soloway. Di Pri belts 3 solos in what may be Timothy’s first shot at Broadway.

Timothy grew up in New Jersey where he was an All-State Athlete. Voted best athlete in his high school graduating class, he lettered in swimming, baseball, and football. He attended Clemson University, South Carolina, where he was awarded a swimming scholarship, and headed to the NCAA Div. 1 Championships.

Using the arts as a creative outlet from the pressures of athletics, Timothy studied literature, jazz, ballet, and theater in New York City during summer breaks, culminating in an unforgettable portrayal of Stanley Kowalski, in a N.Y. summer stock production of Tennessee Williams’ classic “A Street Car Named Desire”. In New York, Timothy was cast as a season regular dancer on “Club MTV” where he appeared 3 seasons with host “Downtown” Julie Brown.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University, he headed back to Manhattan, N.Y. full-time to further sharpen his acting skills. Timothy studied with Michael Beckett in a two-year theater program at the Herbert Berghoff Studio. He then completed two more years of intense studies with Mary Doyle, a protégé of Sanford Meisner. She prepared him for his first Off-Broadway role at the Actor’s Connection Repertory, in NYC. Timothy now studies with Hollywood’s top acting coach, Margie Haber, a brilliant instructor having influenced the careers of Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Pierce Brosnan and Heather Locklear.

Timothy moved to Los Angeles where he continued his theater work at The Tiffany, West Hollywood. He played the sensitive, yet sexy George, an original cast member in “Change at Babylon”. He appeared with Chad Allen, successfully running the show for a record 6 months. Di Pri just finished yet another theater piece, winning numerous rave reviews as he brilliantly portrayed 16 different characters in L.A.’s original production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, (abridged)” at The Globe. This play was held over three times due to critical acclaim. Other theatre works include: “Heaven Scent”, “All’s Well That Ends Well”, “A Hatful of Rain”, “Spike Heels”, “Scooter Thomas”, “Romeo and Juliet” and “I am a Camera”. In spring of 2002, Di Pri had the opportunity to split the leading role in the L.A. award- winning production of “Southern Baptist Sissies” by creator Del Shores (Dharma & Greg) at the Zephyr Theatre.

Di Pri’s film career started with beginner’s luck and has kept going. Unknown in Hollywood, Timothy forged his own path, never looking back, and broke his way into a very competitive industry. Discovered by Roger Corman, Timothy first began shooting 26 episodes of “Justine” for Showtime, an adventure series with Di Pri as the lead character. The youthful, darkly handsome Di Pri plays a young college professor who confronts adventure while on field trips around the world. Timothy co-starred in “Spiders”, a sci-fi feature thriller by the director of “Xena…Warrior Princess”, Gary Jones, for USA Channel. Other films include: “Dream Masters”, a sci-fi suspense feature made for Cinemax, “Grading on a Curve” for Showtime, and “Big Bob’s” and “Final Decision”, two independents released straight to video. Commercials include: Crest, Mentadent, Mazda, Wrigleys Gum, Seagrams and Union 76 to name a few.

A Los Angeles area resident, Di Pri was at one time a nationally ranked Tri-Athlete and is now an active participant of Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee’s discipline) martial arts. Surfing, water polo, precision motorcycle driving, water and snow skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking and in-line skating, are just a sampling of his athletic abilities.
