is family Pact?
Family pact provides no-cost family planning services to low-income
men and women, including teens.
Why
should I enroll?
Family pact provides access to family planning services for
men and women, as well as counseling, education, and treatment
to protect your reproductive health. If you are concerned about
unplanned pregnancies call us at (805) 486-6565 for a family
PACT appointment.
What
services are provided?
· Personal and confidential health care
· Prevention of unplanned pregnancy
· Basic reproductive health assessments
· Prevention, screening and treatment of STI (sexually
transmitted infections)
· Pregnancy testing and counseling
· Hepatitis B Immunizations
· HIV testing and counseling
· Limited male and female cancer screening

· Emergency contraception
· Contraceptive implants
· Intra-Uterine Contraceptives (IUC)
· Birth control shots
· Diaphragm
· Cervical cp
· Spermicides
· Female and male condoms

Reproductive
health facts
·
Half of all pregnancies are unplanned.
· Eight out of ten teen pregnancies are unplanned.
· One in four people will get an STI (sexually transmitted
infection) in his or her lifetime.
· Up to 85% of women and 40% of men who have Chlamydia
do not show symptoms.
· Chlamydia is the main cause of infertility.
· Emergency contraception pills prevent unplanned pregnancy
when used within 72 hours after unprotected sex.
