History of the Practice

Dr. Charles Pincus, the father of Esthetic Dentistry and the first president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, founded this Practice. Dr. Pincus first developed "Hollywood Laminates" (the predecessors to porcelain veneers) for the motion picture industry elite. His patients included Shirley Temple, Bob Hope, Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, Barbara Stanwyck, Fred Astair, James Dean, Walt Disney and Judy Garland to name a few. At his death in 1986 he passed the torch to Dr. Fugier, his associate, friend, and talented pupil, Dr. Eric Fugier who continues to provide superlative Esthetic dentistry to both Royalty and Celebrities. We prefer to keep our patient list strictly confidential but all our patients seek the finest quality and ultimate natural beauty. Dr. Fugier attributes his "Esthetic Eye" in part, to the daily exposure of his youth to beauty in art of all forms that his French culture provides. He feels his technical expertise is largely due to the quality of his training by his world-renowned predecessors.
